The following documents (contained within two consecutive PDF readers) contain the docket reports for Luke Wenke’s appeals cases, which are now closed.

Note: The first case was closed in 2023, but the file contains several more recent letters that Luke Wenke sent to the court while in presentencing detention last year. Several of those letters were sent shortly before and during Wenke’s second appeal, despite being located in the case file for the first appeal.

USA v. Luke Wenke | Appeal #25-1165

Luke Wenke’s second appeal, filed in May of 2025, challenges the district court’s decision to involuntarily commit him to inpatient mental health treatment after he was deemed competent but mentally ill. The appeal was dropped after Wenke maxed out his incarceration time and was released without supervision.
