Luke Wenke was released from federal prison on October 7th, 2025 after spending two years in custody for violating the terms of his supervised release. One of the reasons he remained behind bars during that time was because his behavior on social media raised public safety concerns among the parties involved in his case.
The judge overseeing Wenke’s case had released him on an ankle monitor in December 2023 while awaiting sentencing for a probation violation charge, only to send him back to jail just a week later due to his volatile online activity as well as complications situating his court-mandated outpatient mental healthcare. But because Wenke had served the maximum time for his violation conviction and was deemed a non-threat to public safety following a mental evaluation (despite earlier findings to the contrary), the court was essentially left with no choice but to free him without supervision.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Wenke began barraging the federal court with hostile emails less than 24 hours after his final court hearing. The deluge continued until his arrest nearly two months later on what is now his second federal cyberstalking charge.
As the emails were received, the court posted them to Wenke’s case file on PACER. The email below is the last one that Wenke sent to the courthouse prior to his arrest. It was received by the court on December 15th, 2025, and Wenke was taken into custody two days later.
In the email, Luke Wenke blames me and his other victims for his pitiful position in life. He falsely accuses me of “destroying his house,” conspiring with the government to ruin his life, and being paid to run this website. I run this site at my own expense, I do not make money from it, and I haven’t committed any crimes against Luke Wenke. He destroyed his own house by neglecting it for years leading up to his first federal arrest in 2022, and he ruined his own life by refusing to comply with the terms and conditions set forth by the court, which consisted primarily of one fucking task: to leave his victims the fuck alone.

“I am putting the current environment on you. It doesn’t end, it doesn’t change. You are incapable of creating peace. I think all you judges do is play Battleship with the Sentencing Guidelines. It would typically be your job to sentence someone for destroying a house, as was done to me. Police don’t help, Erie County DA doesn’t help. So should I sue your court for all of this?
